|Jimmy Fallon as Neil Young.|
Jimmy Fallon is fast becoming the best late night host on American TV, if he doesn’t hold that crown already. Somehow I missed his latest turn as Neil Young and it’s almost too good to be true. In the past he’s done hilariously Young-esque renditions of songs like Pants On The Ground and the theme from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, but this takes it to a whole other level. Reason why? Once again, it is a song Neil Young would’ve never sung nor written in a million years, this time a take on Miley Cyrus’ pop-tastic (and unashamedly juvenile) Party In The USA. But more-so, it’s the presence of the REAL David Crosby and Graham Nash on harmonies. The joy those two legends, two of the greatest harmony singers in history were getting in singing along with lines like “moving my hips like yeah,” is priceless. And they can still sing.
