Yesterday (Monday) was the first day back at work for many, so I thought I’d ease the pain by posting some photos of one of New Zealand’s most popular holiday destinations. I took these photos on Waiheke Island (in the Hauraki Gulf, 30 minutes ferry from Auckland’s CBD) in August last year on an unusually warm winter’s day.
Yes, the photos were taken in winter, but if you’ve never been to Waiheke Island, I hope they give a glimpse of why this is such an internationally acclaimed summer holiday spot.
